I got the 7in with drill kit. Did not even bother with my drill until over a foot of ice. Consistently with little effort was drilling through 10 in of the good hard clear black by hand under 15 sec buddy times me through 15 holes and 12 was fastest 18sec was slowest. Old dewalt nicad drill and even faster through a foot. Beat the crap out of blades banging on thin ice (I know dont do that) and rolled the edge dulling them so bad it sucked battery dead in two holes. So I made a stropping stick with old belt with emory(red) rouge on one side and soft back(used flex seal tape)400 wet dry and polished the edge, holy crap it cuts fast now. If you know how strop/polish your blades it will blow your mind.

this thing cuts so well that I haven't even tried the drill adapter piece yet! I got the 5 inch for panfish because I already have another 8 inch auger for pike. unfortunately I think the ice fishing season here in west Michigan is just about over. I would definitely recommend this prodcut.

I bought both the 5 and 7 inch models using both the drill attachment and hand auger. Have drilled about 100 holes with them in the past week.
We move a lot so light weight and fast is a must. These things rock! They pull themselves through the ice. In fact putting a bunch of downward pressure can be a hindrance.
Be aware that when using the manual handle that is is intentionally off set so rather than keeping the top handle stationary, your crank both the top and bottom in a sailor grinder action. I can auger through 2+ feet of ice by hand before my buddy can start his power auger and drill down.
My other like is that my initial investigation showed that replacement blades cost less than half of what they do on my power and electric augers.

Purchased The 6" size with drill attachment. The auger is awesome. I was surprised how easy, compact, and how fast it cut. I was looking at the Nils or the Kdrill, I am so glad I found this one. This is very fast, does not require much torque to use . I have informed, bragged, and shown others this auger - they are impressed and have asked where I found it. I have absolutely no regrets and I was able to drill 3 holes with no time or effort at all.

Love the compact size speed that can cut through ice like no other

This is a great auger, I got the 6", I was able to drill about 20 holes on a small 2ah battery with over a foot of ice. For the price you can't beat it. Looks like replacement blades are cheap too. It's not a Nils but if your looking for a good value this is it.

Amazing auger. I use my cordless dril and it just blasts through the ice. Would suggest buying 5 or 6" auger. I bought the 7" and it zaps my battery fairly quick. I drilled about 10-12 holes in 12" ice before battery died. In fairness, it was really cold and that did not help the life of the battery. Nice product for sure.

Worked awesome at first, now I can't get it to cut a hole at all. Not sure what the problem is.

I recently purchased the HT Nero 7 inch hand auger with drill attachment. This auger exceeded my expectations! It effortlessly cut through 12" of ice. I used a 18v cordless drill and cut many holes without much drain on the battery. I didn't even have to swap batteries all day. I highly recommend if you are looking for an alternative to a gas/propane powered auger.

The picture of the drill adapter is wrong. I have contacted support and they have not contacted me. It does not connect to the drill.
Edit from HT: I have sent you a message to try to resolve the issue. Please respond to that message.
